We appreciate everyone who made their way to Halle on August 27, 2023 for our Love Feast. Together we had a wonderful time in God’s presence celebrating His amazing love. Many familiar faces, as well as new ones, gathered on the lawn behind our church building. Among them, of course, our daughter churches from Hannover, Seßlach and Hildesheim.
The festive service started with praise and worship music, followed by Pastor Sammy Egboh delivering a message about God’s love – a love that cannot be compared to earthly, human love. This love made God sent His son, Jesus, to bear mankind’s sin, pain and oppression and to bring freedom in turn.
Next, three people gave their testimonies of how they practically experienced God’s goodness in their lives. They retold how God supernaturally delivered and healed them from panic attacks, Parkinson’s disease and heart problems. At the end of the service, members of the daughter church from Hanover performed a song before everyone enjoyed delicious food and warm fellowship.
We give God all the glory for the wonderful time, for good weather despite all the rain forecasts and for all the hearts He touched. Many thanks also go to all the helpers who contributed to the success of the event.
Since 2015, the RPMI Love Feast is a standing event that we hold annually during the summer months as an open-air service. Not only to remember and celebrate God’s great love towards us, but also to reach people with that love.
